BUGS BUGS BUGS!!!!!

Ok, I think I've killed more bugs in the month I've lived here (yes it's been a month) than I've killed in the last 5 years. I've definitely seen the largest spiders known to mankind, and for some reason, they are all INSIDE my house. Being 28 and single you learn to do a lot of things on your own, when you see a spider the size of a small dog you can't just scream for some man to come kill it, you have to take matters into your own hands. Lately I've decided rather than grabbing a shoe or a small shovel to kill the bugs I come across I've been grabbing my camera before slaughtering the little buggers. If I posted all the pictures of bugs I've taken, you'd quickly be bored...yes there's that many, so I decided to post the most interesting ones. I do want to clarify ALL pictures were taken INSIDE my house. I figured people here might think I'm a little strange if they knew I was taking pictures of the bugs I kill.

Hey girl - that spider on the bottom right looks like the wolf spider I had in my house last year! Was it really big?! And I feel your pain - Mike (self admittedly) is the one that screams like a little girl - so I'M the one that has to do all the killing! Although that wolf spider was so big - I just swept him outside (after I ran him down!). :-)

Oh my goodness Erin, you have NO IDEA...oh wait, I guess you do. It was HUGE!! I've killed like 5 of them, and man they're fast. The only reason I got a pic of that one is cause he was out of my reach. He was at least 8 ft. above my head. And Glenn, that's disgusting, I may be from the south, but I aint country. :) Love ya.

So I'm POSITIVE that Costa Rica was a warm-up as far as bugs go...God was just breaking me in. And this morning I killed a small spider with my bare hand. No screaming...not even a need to breathe deep. I'm making progress...
