El Día del Padre

As I posted previously, last Thursday was Father’s Day. To celebrate this special day the school here put on a production and invited the families of the kids here at the school. We had about 25 dads show up. The kids were SOOO EXCITED! During the production they performed dances (typical and modern), dramas, and recited poems. We prepared for weeks before the big day. It was quite a task getting the kids ready the day of the event, flat ironing the hair of the older girls, and braiding the hair of the little girls, but it was a blast. Here’s a few pics from that special day.

IT IS SO NEAT THAT YOU DID THAT FOR THE DADS. I AM SO BAD, I'VE BEEN SO BUSY WITH MOVING, PACKING, WORK, AND CHURCH THAT I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT FATHER'S DAY UNTIL NOW WHEN I READ YOUR BLOG. UGH-SO BAD. IT'S AWESOME TO SEE PICS OF ALL THE KIDS. THEY ALL LOOKED VERY NICE DRESSED UP FOR THE FATHER'S DAY PROGRAM.
